Bobcat T190
The T140 is a small frame compact tracked loader. This machine with radial lift arms has just the right size for working in confined areas, on soft ground conditions and in applications where maximum stability and tractive effort are required.
The 300 mm wide heavy-duty rubber tracks deliver a smooth ride, excellent traction and flotation as well as efficient use of power. Its external dimensions, transport weight and more than 40 attachments make the T140 a perfect partner for work year-round.

Features and Benefits
Dimensions and performances
While it is positioned in the lower part of the Compact Tracked Loaders range, the T140 must not be considered simply as the entry model of the range, but as a concept dedicated to meet customer requirements. Its external dimensions and transport weight, along with engine power, hydraulic performance and a wide range of Bobcat attachments, make the T140 a perfect partner for work year-round. By SAE standards, the Rated Operating Capacity for tracked loaders is 35% of their tipping load. Skid-steer loaders are rated at 50% of their tipping load, again per SAE standard. The T140 has a Rated Operating Capacity of 642 kg, with a tipping load of 1834 kg. This shows that the productivity of the T140 is much higher than similar sized skid-steer loaders.
Traction
The 300 mm wide rubber tracks with offset lug pattern and a ground pressure of 34,5 kPa provide for minimal ground disturbance and increased flotation when working on soft ground or landscaped areas. The tracks allow the operator to cross asphalt and concrete without damaging the surface. Less soil disturbance means less damage, and it will also reduce reclamation of the original work site.
Ease to service
Like all Bobcat CTLs, the T140 compact tracked loader presents serviceability features unmatched by competitive machines. The tensioning and removal of the tracks and the servicing to the transverse-mounted engine are quick and easy. The track system uses sealed and oil-lubricated rollers and idlers to minimize maintenance.
The Bobcat tracked loaders feature an additional roller on all models. The addition of the roller reduces the spacing between the rollers, providing improved distribution of weight. Ride characteristics are improved significantly. The rollers feature a floating metal face seal design that has proven more effective in keeping out debris, and bi-metallic bushings for an extended service life. The new design is sealed for life and NO service is required. This change results in greater durability, longer life, lower operating costs and increased customer satisfaction.
"SmartFAN™" Cooling System
The last generation Bobcat loaders features a new hydraulically driven fan. This infinitely variable speed cooling fan is more efficient in all respects – it cools better in extreme operating conditions, is quieter in most applications and requires on average less engine power. Bobcat loaders continue to feature dual path cooling. With this feature, the cooling system brings in cool, clean air from above the loader through the oil cooler and radiator while pulling hot air from the engine and hydrostatic area. The hydrostatic oil is cooled as the ambient air passes over the coils in the cooling system. Both airstreams are then expelled from the loader out two side vents. Dual-path cooling delivers unparalleled cooling efficiency for greater loader performance as well as keeping cleaning of the radiator and engine compartment to a minimum.
- A “bow-tie” drive chain design using pre-stressed, heavy-duty drive chains in two short continuous loops per side. Unlike competitive units this design requires NO chain adjustment.
- Maintenance-free, except for 1000-hour oil change.
- Keel-shaped belly pan and greater ground clearance for enhanced performance and manoeuvrability in muddy and sandy conditions.
- Heat treated large diameter axles for greater component life.
- Welded axle tubes with tight tolerances so chain adjustment is never needed.
Controls - As options, Bobcat gives different possibilities:
- Selectable Joystick (SJC)
- Advanced Control System (ACS)
- Advanced Hands Controls (AHC)
First class operator comfort
- Excellent visibility to the sides and front
- Custom-mode headlights providing outstanding light in the work area
- Easy-to-remove top and rear windows and side windows(no tools needed)
- A domed roof curved from front to back and side to side, helps shed water. The roof also has formed ribs that increase stiffness and dampen sound.
Maintenance has never been easier
A Bobcat loader is designed for cost-effective ownership. The use of maintenance-free and low-maintenance components is complemented with easy service access. All routine maintenance points are accessible from one side thanks to the transversal engine, while the large swing-out tailgate provides access to engine check and fill points, filters and battery.
